Right now (11:30am) 6 years ago today, our Kennedy Joy came into this world. After losing Austin and having empty arms for a year. God blessed us with a beautiful girl to raise to know him. And have we done that. She is the most precious, sensitive little girl who will tell you she loves God first, then her family second.

She woke up this morning by Madison and I singing Happy Birthday to her. She was smiling with her eyes still closed. Then sat right up and asking to open a present. Madison gave her Hello Kitty woolen hat, and gloves. It has gotten cold now in the mornings, so she has asked for some warm gloves.

Our little baby has turned into a young girl. How could this happen so quickly? Where is the time going? This is a reminder to truly cherish each day with our kids.

Happy Birthday Kennedy!!!!
We love you!

Kennedy showing how tall she is....

...and Madison showing how big she wished she was!

Ahh. This is the life!

She had a hard time picking out which one she wanted. A little overwhelmed with so many to choose from.

She is such a big girl now. Where is the time going?

With Papa retired now, it is so nice to be able to do things like this with him.

Lazy mornings in Auntie Lue's bed with
their cousin, Chaz.

It was so fun walking around the busy streets. It's not often we get pictures of all of us.
Thanks, Lue!

I only wish that was the real Eiffel Tower, and we were in Paris, France.

We're home! Thanks to all of you who prayed for a relaxing and safe trip for our family. We are back from sunny Vegas to a good 'ole cool Auburn, WA. The weather was wonderful, time with the family was special, and we got the relaxation we needed. Kennedy actually had several moments of deep sadness as she did not want to come back to Washington. She says she doesn't want to live here anymore and wants to live where it's sunny all the time. I told her...... "ME TOO!" So with us all trying to accept reality, I think we will settle back into life here quickly.
The girls are sound asleep, laundry in the wash, and Evan and I catching up on mail & emails.
We look forward to catching up with all of you. Thanks again!

Love,
Evan, Kristina, Kennedy & Madison

Kennedy got to "build a bear" for the first time for a early birthday present from Auntie Lue, Uncle Chuck, Charissa, and Chaz. She loved it!

Daddy & Kennedy relaxing in the hot tub.

Madison still floating....

We are here in Las Vegas visiting Evan's sister, Lue and her Family. The weather has been nice, one day of a thunder & lightning storm, but other than that it's gorgeous weather. Here we are in their pool they have at their home. You see Madison floating around in here.

Shauneen made all the kids shirts as a gift. They are so cute. She designed and made the silk screen of 5 birds flying and 1 bird on a sign saying "North - West". She also made the boys the knit hats. Isn't she Miss Domestic?

Thanks Shauneen!
