Nothing like friends!

I got a couple new pictures for you! It took Robin to remember her camera to bring these to you. We went up to Seattle last night to meet Robin, Lauren, and Olivia. We went and looked at the different gingerbread house displays, all went for a horse drawn carriage ride downtown, and dinner at Cheesecake Factory! The girls were so excited to be with their friends. I was happy to get up to Seattle to see it decorated for Christmas one last time. Love to you all.

I am sorry I havn't posted anything in a while. I have been terrible at remembering to take pictures lately. We have been busy with preparing for Christmas and work.
We went away last week to Ocean Shores for a couple days, the last day to have a terrible wind storm that took the power from 700,000 people just in King County alone. The fun part was my Brother, Mark and Sister in law, Erica were out of power for 3 days. We got to have them stay with us! Yeah! It was so fun having them.
The girls are out of school for Christmas break, so today was a lazy morning for us all. I have a few more presents to wrap and lots of cleaning to get done before Sunday. Evan Sister, Lue and family are coming to spend it with us this year. We are excited to have them. It's going to be a wonderful Christmas!
I hope your all doing well and enjoying each day up to Christmas Day. Love you all!

I know it's not much snow. But these 2 little girls are so excited. We have had traces of snow the last couple days and we've had to leave first thing in the morning, so they havn't been able to play in it. We got a little more last night and with the mix of that and the ice under the roads, the school's are closed for the day. So my girls couldn't wait to get out there and play.

Checking out the results....

Love, Love, LOVE!

Breakfast with a view! Our little breakfast nook was wrapped around with glass.
I think the girls were almost loving the city as much as Mommy. Starbucks across the street, a cute Marketplace for groceries 2 blocks away. Now we have to convience Daddy to live in the city! ;-)

I love my girls SO much! We are walking around Stanley Park.

Madison finally getting one to come to her.

It's a little blurry, but that's the view from the living area in Vancouver B.C. where Evan, the Girls, and I stayed for a couple days before Thanksgiving. We were on the 19th floor, and that's the Sheraton down below. Love the city!

Rebecca and I keeping up with the Boys.

Boys and their toys.

Yes that is snow. We went up high enough that we were riding in around a foot of snow. Rebecca and I were getting stuck in it, so we turned around.
We finally made it up to the top of the ridge, you can see how close we are to Mt. Rainier.

The girls before heading out for a very cold night of trick or treating. I had the girls put pants on underneath their fairy dresses.

Even Gavin Boeger came dress up! Isn't he the cutest?

Right now (11:30am) 6 years ago today, our Kennedy Joy came into this world. After losing Austin and having empty arms for a year. God blessed us with a beautiful girl to raise to know him. And have we done that. She is the most precious, sensitive little girl who will tell you she loves God first, then her family second.

She woke up this morning by Madison and I singing Happy Birthday to her. She was smiling with her eyes still closed. Then sat right up and asking to open a present. Madison gave her Hello Kitty woolen hat, and gloves. It has gotten cold now in the mornings, so she has asked for some warm gloves.

Our little baby has turned into a young girl. How could this happen so quickly? Where is the time going? This is a reminder to truly cherish each day with our kids.

Happy Birthday Kennedy!!!!
We love you!

Kennedy showing how tall she is....

...and Madison showing how big she wished she was!

Ahh. This is the life!

She had a hard time picking out which one she wanted. A little overwhelmed with so many to choose from.

Little cheesy grin!

She is such a big girl now. Where is the time going?

With Papa retired now, it is so nice to be able to do things like this with him.

Lazy mornings in Auntie Lue's bed with
their cousin, Chaz.

It was so fun walking around the busy streets. It's not often we get pictures of all of us.
Thanks, Lue!

I only wish that was the real Eiffel Tower, and we were in Paris, France.

We're home! Thanks to all of you who prayed for a relaxing and safe trip for our family. We are back from sunny Vegas to a good 'ole cool Auburn, WA. The weather was wonderful, time with the family was special, and we got the relaxation we needed. Kennedy actually had several moments of deep sadness as she did not want to come back to Washington. She says she doesn't want to live here anymore and wants to live where it's sunny all the time. I told her...... "ME TOO!" So with us all trying to accept reality, I think we will settle back into life here quickly.
The girls are sound asleep, laundry in the wash, and Evan and I catching up on mail & emails.
We look forward to catching up with all of you. Thanks again!

Love,
Evan, Kristina, Kennedy & Madison

Her name is "Grape"!

Kennedy got to "build a bear" for the first time for a early birthday present from Auntie Lue, Uncle Chuck, Charissa, and Chaz. She loved it!

Daddy & Kennedy relaxing in the hot tub.

Madison still floating....

We are here in Las Vegas visiting Evan's sister, Lue and her Family. The weather has been nice, one day of a thunder & lightning storm, but other than that it's gorgeous weather. Here we are in their pool they have at their home. You see Madison floating around in here.

Shauneen made all the kids shirts as a gift. They are so cute. She designed and made the silk screen of 5 birds flying and 1 bird on a sign saying "North - West". She also made the boys the knit hats. Isn't she Miss Domestic?

Thanks Shauneen!
